During our NW OKC Rotary Club luncheon on June 24th at Quail Creek Golf & Country Club, we installed our new President Chase Dickens. The past year Daylene Sooter Bachman has been an excellent President leading our club by continuing many activities and introducing new activities as well. Our new President, Chase Dickens, has served as Secretary, President Elect, along with a part in each weeks meeting with Cares and Concerns. Our club's leadership was in fantastic hands this past year and will continue to have great leadership with our new President and Board. 

During our monthly Club Assembly luncheon with NW OKC Rotary Club, we inducted our 3 newest members - Joey Farrant, Lynne Hardin, & Daniel Gonzales. It's a great feeling to have all 3 individuals become members of our club and join Rotary. If you'd like to learn about Rotary, please join us at one of our weekly Tuesday luncheons held at Quail Creek Golf & Country Club, noon to 1pm. We are always looking for individuals that are wanting to make a difference in their communities. This week in place of our usual NW OKC Rotary Club weekly luncheon, we volunteered at Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to help pack food so others could be offered a lunch. Lots of fun and work to be had, along with members from additional clubs within the District came out to volunteer. Once it was all said and done, we were told for the day we had helped pack over 50,000 pounds of food. Hard to believe, but my body is thinking it felt more like 50,000 tons (someone handed me a lift jack and said not to run over anyone - I only stepped on one toe). Next week (Tuesday) we will be back to our normal lunch meeting at Quail Creek Golf & Country Club and our guest speaker will be from OKC Spark - Oklahoma City's Professional Women's Softball Team.
